Ayla was invited to play Tanya in the sold out extension of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Divorce for three shows Oct 30, Nov 5, and Nov 13 at New Collective Theatre - 6440 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood. In this well-received comedy, three couples get into each other's business in the waiting room, while waiting for the mediator to arrive so they can carry out their divorce. Written by Jeff Gould, Directed by Marc Antonio Pritchett.

After voicing three other episodes of the Open-Door Playhouse Podcast, Chance, Joyland, and Hard Times, Ayla is invited back to voice the role of Faith, in the fun love story, The Rainbow Girls Detective Agency, written by Matthew Mendoza, Directed by Bernadette Armstrong, in support of PEN America. Part 1 of this episode is playing now.  Part 2 will premier the first week of August!

Ayla stars as Carol in A Black and White Cookie virtual LIVE once again with New York's Momenti Productions, directed by Emma Schwartz, with Russell Jordan as Harold and George Rex as Albie. Also with Jack Skaggs and Briana Bui. 

A Black and White Cookie by Greg Morgenstein, Directed by Morry Schorr launched May 1st, recorded in April. The show is about a comedic, relevant full length play about a quirky paranoid Jewish homeless man Albie (Morry Schorr) and a stubborn black news stand owner Harold (LeJon Stewart) who become friends while fighting gentrification in the aftermath of the pandemic. Ayla plays Harold's concerned niece, Carol Wilson.
